Spooky...

Kevin came over this morning while I was out picking up a few things at the supermarket. Wild horses couldn't keep him from starting without me. Esther sure had no chance!

Kevin and I had discussed what it was I was looking to do and he had the bottom GLs halfway in by the time I got back from the store.

While we were in the middle of measuring for the upper GLs we recieved a phone call...from Mr Tree House himself, Michael Garnier of Treehouses.com fame. He just wanted to check on our progress and was looking for an idea as to when I might be returning the drill bit for my deposit. I told him that I thought that I would be shipping it back by the end of the month.


Here it was, months after recieving the bits and today...TODAY he calls just as we are actually using them. It's almost as if he knew...

Here it is August...One double birthday/graduation bash, and one Vermont vacation later and we just may be getting some of that impressive hardware up in the trees this weekend!

We've been so busy we haven't even touched the stuff other than to move it out of the way. Tomorrow the bro- Uncle Kevin- will be bringing over his heavy duty drill so that we might get those GLs up in those trees. Hopefully that will break the ice and get us under way.
